Fireforge Foot Sergeants

Another box I have collected over the years is the Deus Vult foot sergeants box, made by fireforge games.

The box has 48 models in it, seperated into 6 sprues:

Each of these sprues contains 8 miniatures, in 6 unique body types.

10 seperate heads
6 spears
6 other close combat weapons
4 crossbows
8 shields

Armor and equipment I would say covers late 12th to early 15th centuries. BUT don't take my word for it because I am definetly not a historian.

Hers is one of the models assembled beside a GW Bretonnian man at arms and a Perry Agincourt infantry model: (fireforge is in the middle)

I like the models, and quality control appears to be pretty good, there's very little flash and the details do stick out.

Just a few minuses.

-if you don't put the right arms on the right body, wit right shield arm, the model can look a bit wonky.

- 4 of the 8 bodies are doing this odd crouching thing, which I personally did not find useful. Not to mention the 4 crouching models only come in 2 varieties.

-the integral base is kind of large

Other then that I find them to be excellent models and I've used them from Bretonnian stand ins to Saga Levies.

Hope you find this useful.
